Harry Protheroe is running the London Marathon for UCARE

Unfortunately this was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
UCARE is lucky enough to have one coveted place in the London Marathon Silver Bond scheme.
The Silver Bond scheme gives a charity one guaranteed place into the event every five years. This year Harry Protheroe is running for UCARE.
This year I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for the amazing charity UCARE. Any donation you can spare will be hugely appreciated and make a significant difference in the fight against cancer.
UCARE charity golf day

We sadly had to cancel our annual golf day
The day should have been a major fundraiser for us with many old friends joining us, and meeting new friends for the first time.
We hope this will return in 2021.
We hope you will join us for our 11th annual charity golf day at Studley Wood Golf Club on September 17th 2020.

Geoff Gafford will be walking the South West Coastal Path

The Covid-19 situation has meant Geoff had to end his walk. Read more about Geoff's progress and decision to end on his blog.
Many of you will remember Geoff’s extraordinary walk for UCARE in 2018 of nearly 600 miles from Chepstow to Berwick-upon-Tweed, who can forget the photographs of his little tent in thick snow!
Celebrating his continuing good health after kidney cancer surgery in 2017 Geoff is this year walking 630 miles from Minehead to Poole.
